So, my sister took this photo in NYC last night. Notice the Jersey Plates, Screen Printed Everything, Smoke from Squealing Tires, Public Urination, Kicked Over Garbage Can. Something you won't notice, the Trance music blaring from inside the car. This may be the best thing ever to happen in the history of everything. Thank God someone was there to document it. I love you Claire (My Sister).

Snoop Diggity Dogg Pound's album dropped last week and, if you don't know by now, Doggy Dog is a Freak eek eek eeeeee-eee-eeek. Overall I'd say its worth the 12 (or whatever) bucks. Ignoring the eternal appeal of Sexual Seduction, there are also a couple of modern Snoop classics on there. Namely Press Play and Been Around The World. Lovers of all things J Dilla will fall hard and fast for Press Play. But, the deal-sealer on Ego-Trippin has got to be Cool. This track is so weird and reminiscent of classic, Rick-James-style production it cannot be ignored. Enjoy and buy that album son!

I've been geeking about big room house lately. Why? Cause it is getting good, again. With prolific and refreshing dudes like Switch, Herve, Crookers and Bloody Beetroots and, of course, the blogs blogging (here and here) its been kinda hard to ignore. I actually started, started again and then started again a big room mix about a month back. I set it aside for fear of it/me coming off as wack. Guess I am just ahead of the curve, again. Look for it to be complete soon, in the meantime...

Day N Night (Crookers First Remix) Kid Cudi

Also, I am playing Too Much Love on March 22nd. Expect me to give First Ave's system a workout with some jjjjjjams from aforementioned producers.

Designer Drugs are two radical dudes from Philadelphia who are playing with two equally as radical dudes from Minneapolis (Jonathan Ackerman & Dan Cruse) at the Kitty Kat Club on Friday - see above, duh. Since they have come to be known for their pulsating electro mixes/remixes/originals and sweat-inducing live shows, you should get your funky butt down to the Kitty Kat Club on Friday. Heck, bring a friend or two - its free you cheapskate. As if that isn't enough, they are melting faces at Too Much Love on Saturday too, also free. Get involved...
